The Listening Ear offers counseling, therapy, and related services as described on our website. These services may include individual sessions, couples sessions, group sessions, conflict resolution, and other therapeutic interventions.

3. Confidentiality and Privacy

All information shared during counseling sessions is strictly confidential. We adhere to professional ethics and legal standards regarding client privacy. However, there are legal and ethical exceptions to confidentiality, such as cases of imminent harm to oneself or others.

4. Professional Relationship

Our therapists and counselors are trained professionals. The client-counselor relationship is therapeutic and should not be misconstrued as a legal, financial, medical, or other professional relationship.

5. Payment and Billing

Payment is expected at the time a client books an appointment for service. The Listening Ear accepts various forms of payment, as outlined on our website.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that schedules may change. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule a session.  Session Fees are non-refundable once a time slot has been set aside for you.  You may reschedule another session within 30 days free of charge.

7. Code of Conduct

We maintain a safe and respectful environment for all clients and staff. Any inappropriate, abusive, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in termination of services.

8. Results and Outcomes

While we strive to provide effective counseling and therapy, outcomes may vary from person to person. The Listening Ear does not guarantee specific results or products from our services.

9. Use of Information

We may use de-identified and aggregated information to research, analyze, and improve our services. Your personal information will never be disclosed without your consent except as required by Law.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Listening Ear and its therapists are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of our services.

11. Modifications

These terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice. The most recent version will always be available on our website.

12. Governing Law

The laws of the court govern these terms and conditions. Any disputes arising from our services will be subject to the court’s jurisdiction.
